Re-launch for
Invigra
The Invigra portal has undergone a
radical facelift with almost every element
on the page being changed. We have a bold
new logo and have reverted back to the .Net
domain. Although we remain primarily a UK
website and still use the .co.uk domain, we
are more focussed on web design and hosting
while retaining a few popular portal
elements such as News, Music, Search, E-Mail
and popular links. We therefore felt that
Invigra.Net was a more relevant brand name.
We have stripped out a lot of under used
elements and made the remaining ones easier
to find. We are pleased to be able to offer
domain names from just £2.90 a year and web
hosting for just £2.99 per month with our
new hosting company known as Value Hosting.
We are in the process of developing a new
music video site that will be known as
Invigra Music. Our privacy policy has been
slightly amended to reflect these
changes.

New Look and Style
for Invigra
In a bold move back to the original format.
The Invigra Portal today unveiled a new
look. The news feeds have been moved to a
separate page allowing the space on the home
page to be put to better use. The portal is
pleased to once again offer links to quality
sites offering Motoring, Property, Gaming,
Music, Video, Sports, Weather, Pictures,
Travel and of course Shopping. We have
decided to move away from our previous
format of offering one shopping portal and
to instead offer several. We believe this
will offer consumers and our users the best
opportunity to source the best possible
price and obtain value for money for
purchases. We have also included a TV feed
and expanded our Web Hosting services to
offer custom packages, installation help and
web design. Our e-mail service remains
intact and we have re-committed to it. The
blog has been scrapped as it was evident
that not many people actually clicked
through to read the full story. This has
been replaced with a twitter feed allowing
quick updates as they happen. Other social
networking sites added are Stumble upon,
diggit and redditt.
Notes:
Invigra is currently celebrating 10 years
online having first launched in 1999.
The domain is still known as invigra.co.uk
while the e-mail service is invigra.net

Invigra
Portal given brand new look
Just over 11 months since the last
facelift, Invigra has once again had a
complete makeover and re-design. We have
continued with the current trend of
outsourcing and have now moved our shopping
mall over to an outside provider under the
brand 'shopwindow' which we are confident
will deliver a much more fulfilling shopping
experience to users. Although this section
is arguably the most profitable of the web
site, it is also the most time consuming,
and as ever, in order to offer a quality
website, we must ensure that our content is
up to date and there are no broken links.
Unfortunately, we were unable to achieve
this so we took the decision to outsource
this section of Invigra while allowing us to
concentrate on the actual Invigra website.
Our core role is to find new and interesting
websites that offer value for money or are
an essential resource and link to them from
our site. While shopping links help pay for
the site, they should not detract us from
our core mission.
This is a copy of the statement added to the
new revamped website:
Welcome to a
brand new look for the Invigra portal. We
have given the entire site a fresh new look,
while also moving to a brand new server.
Some old favourites remain (such as our free
e-mail service) while the shopping pages
have been totally revamped and are now
called 'shopwindow'
which offers users a fully searchable
directory of hundreds of stores. Have a look
at it now!
We have also introduced a brand new chat
room which we hope will make it easier for
our users to keep in touch with each other.
Wondering where the top navigation menu has
gone? We have scrapped it due to occasional
loading problems, but all the links can now
be found within this page so you won't miss
anything! As ever, we welcome feedback on these and
other improvements across the site. Please
note that our travel pages are still being
re-developed and in the meantime, all travel
links will re-direct to the
e-bookers website.

Yet
another brand new look to the Invigra portal
We have been working on a site redesign
for several weeks now and have streamlined
the site to concentrate on our core areas.
This is mainly Shopping but we are also
maintaining some of our travel pages. We are
no longer supporting the flights and
holidays pages and have instead decided to
use Expedia and Lastminute for these pages.
As part of the re-design we are
concentrating on our invigra.co.uk domain to
establish us as a UK site which we felt was
important so users knew what type of links
to expect. In this market users want a UK
site when looking for UK shops. Most of the
rest of the site has now been outsourced to
other providers. The orange colour scheme
has been replaced by a deep red and we now
link to social network sites such as My
Space & You Tube. <ENDS>

Invigra is back - Bigger & better
Following the site crash 6 days ago our
staff have been working all hours to get
Invigra back on line and today we have not
only re-launched but also introduced a new
feel we had been working on already. Our new
logo is a half cut orange which is
invigorating!
We are still working to restore all the
pages on the site so please be patient and
inform us of any broken links. Thanks for
using Invigra.

Invigra goes 'off line'
Due to an error with the company hosting
Invigra, we unfortunately have lost the
entire portal.
We are currently re-directing users to one
of our other websites and the staff are
working round the clock to restore the site.
27 December 2004
Brand new look to the Invigra portal;
Invigra has removed several components
that were slowing our development and
entered into several new content
partnerships. Our first one is with ARA
content which is now displayed on our home
page. Our channels now link directly to
sites that we believe are offering the best
content in terms of size and value.
5 September 2004
Invigra has now sold off it's free e-mail
service known as 'total e-mail' and is no
longer associated with it. The site has been
given a facelift, and a forum and chat room
have been added to the service. We are still
working towards replacing all of our content
pages with outside providers and will focus
on our shopping portal, radio and home page
to give the true experience users deserve.
23 May 2004
Invigra.Net has launched a brand new home
page and has decided to mark a return to
it's original format of being the 'Gateway'
to quality web sites available on the
internet. Over the coming few weeks we will
start removing some of our own content pages
and replacing them with links to external
sites that in our opinion offer a better
service. This follows extensive feedback
from our users.
18 May 2004
Invigra.Net is withdrawing support for our
online free e-mail service 'Total E-Mail'
following a spate of attacks on our service
including multiple sign ups and the mass
sending of spam and virus infected mail.
This was resulting in all our resources
being directed towards combating this and
responding to complaints. We have decided to
leave the service running for the time being
and will review the situation at a later
date. In the meantime we are now linking to
the Lycos E-Mail service when clicking on
the E-Mail link. |
